Update October 7th, 2019: It seems as though Pinterest buried the stats for individual Pins a business account posts. Both the desktop site and the iOS apps are seeing these changes. With the update, if you want to see the stats for the individual Pins on your profile, you will have to click into the Pin and scroll down a bit to see the stats for that particular one.

I don’t know their reasoning behind this, but as of right now, I’m not a fan of this new update and I’m sure I’m not alone in this sentiment.

Comment below and let me know your thoughts on the update and why you think they made these changes.

Update August 31, 2019: Stats are back and are once again showing on Pinterest Business Profiles! Apparently there were some backend issues that needed to be resolved!

I logged into my Pinterest account yesterday evening and I noticed a big, glaring change to my profile page – my “Monthly Viewers” stats was missing. I thought it was only my profile; but I went to verified accounts and sure enough, their stats weren’t showing on their profile either.

Before 9/29/19 – Pinterest Monthly Viewers On Profile Page
After 9/29/19 – Pinterest Monthly Viewers On Profile Page

Up until yesterday (or whenever they updated their servers), Pinterest Business Accounts had the ability to see and display their total monthly viewer stats on their profile page; but now, a business account will have to view their stats on their analytics page.

I am not sure if this is just a glitch or if Pinterest made the decision to stop showing that stat on profiles for business reasons. I tried reaching out to them, but as of this writing, have not heard anything back from them.

I know it’s not the end of the world; but it’s interesting to see that little stat being removed from profiles. If I get any updates, I’ll update this post accordingly; if you know the reason, leave a comment or shoot me a message!
