These are the top luxury beauty brands and all of them are available on Amazon. There are close to 300 brands on there right now and the list continues to grow.
A lot of these brands are pretty expensive (to me, anyway). I was clicking through some of the links and looking at their product lines, and I must say, I cannot believe people spend that kind of money on beauty products.
I’m not only talking about brands for women, because there are a few brands geared towards men and they’re equally as expensive. I don’t know, I have a hard time believing people actually spend this kind of money on beauty products… then again, I’m not one to use beauty products, so I guess it’s not appealing to me; my wife on the other hand, is a different story. She is very familiar with a lot of these brands and purchases from them frequently 😕.
Looking through the list of beauty brands, it seems as though the hard to pronounce names are the more expensive products, while the beauty brands that have “________ & ________” or “_______ and _______” or “_______ + _______” as their name, seem to be on the cheaper end of the pricing spectrum. Don’t believe me? Click some of the links below and take a look at their name and the price and you’ll see some correlations between name, packaging, country…etc.
The more complex the spelling/pronunciation, the more expensive the item tends to be. The same thing applies to the packaging – the more expensive products are in very detailed, eye catching packaging. Luxury beauty brands with foreign countries/cities in their name, tend to be more expensive as well.
Check this out – there are some hair brushes out there that are selling for $100-$200 a pop… to me, that’s crazy! Maybe it’s because I don’t have a lot of hair and so I don’t use hair brushes or combs; but still, paying over $10 for a brush or a comb is a little ridiculous, right? I don’t know what I would do if my wife ever purchased a $100 or $200 brush… that might be grounds for a divorce! 😄 I kid, I kid! How much money do you spend for the beauty brands that you use and how often do you buy the product?
There are close to 300 different luxury beauty brands on Amazon. They say that the beauty industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and now I can see why!
Which of these brands are your favorite? Which ones have you tried and were disappointed with the product or results? Whats the most amount of money you’ve spent on beauty products?
Are Beauty Products Snake Oil Or Do They Really Work?
I often wonder how much of the beauty market is just marketing bullshit just to get you people to buy their product; now of course, all brands market their products, but some of them are surely just snake oil type stuff, right? I would think wrinkle removers and hair growth products would be the biggest ones that are sold as miracle creams, but in the end, nothing happens and the customer is out a lot of money… maybe I’m just being cynical.
